This melange of spices is for making mulled wine, aka vin chaud (hot wine). Found at holiday markets throughout December, this is well suited to drinking as soon as the weather turns chilly. Add 1-2 T per bottle of red wine, a fruity merlot or an inexpensive blend will do nicely. It's best when wandering the quaint Christmas Markets along St. Germaine or St. Michel Notre Dame along the Seine in Paris, shopping from local artisans. However, the couch will also do! When in Paris, be sure to ask for a shot of spiced rum in your vin chaud to warm you up! 50 g
